erKNUTD – Electronic Repository Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design

Synthesis of magnetite under microwave influence

The aim of this work was to synthesize magnetic nanoparticles, using iron (II) sulfate and alkaline reagents under the influence of microwave radiation, elevated temperatures and pressure; to investigate the mineral composition of the obtained magnetic material using the method ...

Functionalization of elastic bandages for biomedical applications

Justification of the choice of elastic bandages and determination of their suitability for functionalization with nanoparticles of magnetite with the aim of forming new properties ‒ magnetosensitivity, biocompatibility and sensory capabilities that expand the range of medical applications.

Dimensional stability and structural properties of cork-based material for sustainable fashion application

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effects of repeated washing cycles on the dimensional stability, structure, and performance of a cork-based material. Understanding these changes is essential for determining the material’s long-term durability and suitability for ...

Structural parameters of elastic fabrics for compression products

This work aims to determine the effects of both the repeat of the bend-weft thread and the technological parameters of knitting on the structural parameters of an elastic weft-knitted fabric.

Investigation of the antimicrobial activity of functional knitted materials

Justification and experimental assessment of the antimicrobial activity of tubular compression knit fabric modified with various antimicrobial agents. The stability of the antibacterial effect after multiple washing cycles was evaluated, and the possibilities for using the material in&#x...

Fractal analysis of the polyaniline layer structure deposited on the surface of a textile with using of nanotechnologies

To perform a fractal analysis of the morphology of the layer and establish a correlation between its structural parameters, specific electrical conductivity, and the results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

From waste to new design: challenges and possibilities

Raincoat development from recycled automobile tires and non-woven fabrics.

Impact of cyclic tensile deformation on the geometry and scanning performance of embroidered qr codes in knitted fabrics

To evaluate the distortion and readability of embroidered QR codes before and after cyclic tensile deformation using quantitative image analysis techniques.
