Abstract

A sustainable circular bioeconomy, as an economic model based on the principles of circularity, aims to find solutions to food security and the environmental crisis, enhancing competitiveness, reducing dependence on non-renewable resources, and ensuring sustainable management of natural resources without slowing down the economy. It is geared toward development in a sustainable and inclusive manner, focusing, in particular, on ecosystem goods and services, contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the protection and security of ecosystems, which entails the transformation of socio-economic relations.
