Архітектурний дизайн чеського постмодернізму: становлення та особливості формотворчих пошуків

Abstract

Одна з особливостей доби постмодернізму, а, точніше – загальнокультурної ситуації постмодернізму, – особлива зацікавленість просторовими метафорами. Попри зовнішню парадоксальність, те, що ми звикли називати філософією, намагається представити себе саме крізь дизайн архітектурного середовища, в термінах архітектури, а не навпаки. Ці пошуки спільного онтологічного простору архітектури й філософії та особлива сконцентрованість на процесі "означування" (за Ю. Крістевою) відкривають можливості для випробування і переоцінки цінностей, переосмислення "соціокультурної інституції під назвою архітектура", питань щодо логіки побудови просторів, поняття структури, метафізики присутності (яка перетворюється у "присутність відсутності"), питань щодо історичності, влади, теорії медій та політики інтерпретації. У статті наголошено увагу на становленні та формотворчих пошуках чеського постмодернізму в дизайні архітектурного середовища.

One of the features of the era of postmodernism, or, more precisely, of the general cultural situation of postmodernism, is a special interest in spatial metaphors. Despite the external paradox, what we are used to call philosophy, tries to present itself precisely through the design of the architectural environment, in terms of architecture, and not the other way around. These searches for a common ontological space of architecture and philosophy and a special concentration on the process of "signification" (according to Yu. Kristeva) open up opportunities for testing and re-evaluating values, rethinking the "socio-cultural institution called architecture", questions about the logic of building spaces, the concept of structure, the metaphysics of presence (which turns into the "presence of absence"), questions about historicity, power, media theory, and the politics of interpretation. The article focuses on the formation and formative searches of Czech postmodernism in the design of the architectural environment.
