Abstract:	In this paper, we present the results of the study of the influence of the wedge design of a knitting machine on dynamic loads that arise in the needle-wedge interaction zone. A design for an elastic wedge, capable of effectively reducing dynamic loads in the knitting mechanism of the knitting machine is hereby proposed.
