Abstract: This paper examines the relationship between organisational language and economic efficiency. It argues that the linguistic framing of incentive systems is a key determinant of their psychological and economic impact. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach that integrates pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and behavioural economics, the study explores how linguistic strategies shape employee motivation. The analysis focuses on mechanisms such as linguistic framing, performative utterances, and modality, demonstrating their influence on reward perception and work behaviour. The findings indicate that linguistic clarity and communicative transparency reduce transaction costs, mitigate information asymmetry, and strengthen organisational trust. The paper introduces the concept of linguistic capital as a component of intangible assets that directly affects human capital management. The study contributes to bridging philological and economic perspectives in understanding contemporary organisational performance.
