| Abstract: | The work deals with the problem of polysemy and homonymy in English aviation terminology and their influence on professional communication in aviation. The study analyzes semantic ambiguity in pilot-controller discourse and highlights the risks of misinterpreting aviation terms in safety-critical situations. The research concludes that precise use of terminology and systematic linguistic training are essential for effective and safe aviation communication. |
