Abstract:	The work deals with the meaning of innovative technologies in teaching foreign languages. The notion of innovation is analyzed. Such advantages of innovative training as establishment of a friendly atmosphere and relationships between communication participants are discussed. It is noted that special attention is paid to interactive teaching of writing and reading.
